Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

QrMyWay is a browser-based QR code generator. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens with your data — the short version is that your QR content never leaves your device.

1. Information we do not collect

The entire app runs client-side in your browser. There is no account, no server-side database, and no API that receives your content. The URLs, text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, and messages you enter, as well as any logo image you upload, are processed locally in the browser and are never transmitted to us.

2. Information stored on your device

Your browser's local storage (localStorage) keeps data only on your own device:

This data is never sent anywhere. You can remove it at any time by deleting items from the Library, clearing your browser's site data, or using your browser's "clear browsing data" option.

3. Third-party services

Google Fonts. The interface uses fonts served by Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading them transmits your IP address to Google. See Google's privacy policy.

Google AdSense. When display ads are shown, Google AdSense uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Ads are always labelled as advertisements.

QR destinations. QR codes encode the destinations you choose. What happens after someone scans a code — including any site a code links to — is governed by those third parties' own policies, not ours.

4. Cookies

This site itself does not set first-party cookies. Cookies may be set by third parties when they are enabled — currently Google AdSense for advertising, as described above.

5. Children's privacy

QrMyWay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because no personal information is collected at all, no children's data is processed.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights regarding personal data. Since the only data involved is stored locally in your own browser, the simplest way to exercise those rights is to delete it as described in section 2. For questions, contact us at [email protected].

7. Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles data changes, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top revised.
